This performance ritual was collaboratively conceived and performed by Barbara Bickel, Wende Bartley and Medwyn McConachy during an Artist Residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island, Toronto Ontario in July of 2009. Through choreographed improvizational gestures and vocal sounds the lines of communication between humans, birds, the land, and spirit are traced and brought into presence.
